We Offer You The Possibility To Rent Our Kayaks To Get Down The Final Section Of The Serchio River Crossing The Natural Park Of Migliarino, San Rossore, Massaciuccoli. You can choose two experiences according to your interests:
1. full itinerary: 3 hours of descent into the river and 4 hours of relax on the beach. This route starts from the Spiaggetta Di Pontasserchio and will lead you to the Bocca Di Serchio beach with a 15 km descent,(see map).
2. short route: 1.5 hours of descent into the river and 5 hours of relax on the beach. This route starts from the Migliarino Beach and will lead you to the Bocca Di Serchio Beach with a 7 km descent, (See Map). A Difficulty 1 Descent, So Very Quiet Waters Suitable For All. It offers a unique and concrete experience to be spent in the company of your kids.
PROGRAM
Meeting Point Departure: Starting from July 1st and until August 31st, the meeting point is at the Ripafratta train station (map). On working days (Mon - Fri) the meeting is at 7.45 am. On non-working days (Sat - Sun) the meeting is at 9.00 am. Always by reservation. - You can take the train from Pisa (7.04 am Mon - Fri, or 8.50 Sat - Sun) or from Lucca (7.40 am - Fri, 8.42 Sat - Sun) and get off at the Ripafratta station (times available here). - You can also take the Bus from Pisa Airport or from Lucca (consult timetable and stop here). Once at the Ripafratta station, transport by car will be offered by KayakToscana to the starting point (the small beach of Pontasserchio for the complete route or the Migliarino slipway for the short route). Descent of the river by kayak for a duration of about 2h or 3h second route chosen (but you have to paddle at an average pace to get this result;). Relax on the private beach of the natural park We advise you to stop at the "Penisola dei Gabbiani" where tongues of sand and shallow calm waters will welcome you.
Meeting point for the Return: We will meet again at 5.00 pm at the mouth of Serchio, just before arriving at the peninsula of the Gulls, at the point indicated by the map (click here)
From there we will take the kayaktoscana car to return to the Ripafratta train station.
